In June, our Classy Guys Tour 2002 proceeded to Magaluf, Mallorca in June. If you don't know where that is, I suggest you look it up in an atlas.
It was a short week which sped by, but so much stuff happened. To list a few highlights:
* Some dumb guy falling over and spraining his knees and needing crutches.
* A barbecue on a catamaran.
* Leaving Les on a small island off the coast of Mallorca, and rescuing him in a dinghy... for goodness sake, take swimming lessons!
Here are some of the photos from our trip. There are a lot of them here, so you'll have to click on the thumbnails.
It's not as difficult as I thought, dancing with crutches:
This is us at the bar across the road from the hotel, called 'Eastenders Bar'. This was usually our first port of call.
And this is us trying to sing karaoke. I think we successfully managed to empty the bar with our rendition of 'American Pie'. Don't blame me though, I was just holding the mike.
Here we are in the only 'proper' restaurant we went to in the week. The rest of the time it was just fish and chips, or a fry-up. I was probably the most cultural, enjoying the local Spanish delicacies (above all, Sangria!).
[Me, Tarz,
Dan, Sates, Pepe & Les]
Here are Mr. Tarz and Mr. Sates looking particularly Kool (with a Kapital 'K'), on the dancefloor. I'm sure that if you look carefully enough, "eh can see them on the dance floor!". I hope you still effing love your girlfriend, I really hope you do...
This is the barbecue on the catamaran. They had various competitions, such as belly flopping and champagne diving:
Some of us got lucky with the ladies and some didn't. What was your chat-up line with that lollipop, Dan? Sorry, shouldn't make such jokes like that - I, I apologise.
These were the girls who were living next to us in the hotel. They're called Amy and Laura (or Globos for some reason?). Still willing to pay for any counselling after what you had to put up with - sorry guys! Keep in touch - you have Les' number right?
There were only a few of us who could hack the pace of the holiday. Obviously Pepe and Dan could not. Pepe: where's Freddie? He's not in the dinghy? Behind you!
And that was our Excursión Cultural of Magaluf. Hope you enjoyed the photos - we certainly enjoyed the trip!
